    Sickening Squats

Recently set up my very own home squat, only worked legs seriously 4 or 5 times. This is my 3rd week squatting, I'm doing about 185-200 for 9 sets of 8 because I have nothing else to do legs with. Whenever I'm done with workout, I'll make a protein shake right after, lie down, and feel like I'm gonna throw up or pass out. I feel very weak and grumpy. Is this because I'm just starting to squat and it takes a lot out of ya or is there something else to it? Thanks in advance

squatting does take a lot out of you, and if you have a very intense leg workout some do feel nauseous. my advice- if you're not feeling so hot post workout, don't shove a protein shake down your throat, that isn't goign to help you. wait until you settle donw

edit: i just re-read and saw you do 9sets. holy christ, that's a lot, no wonder you're nauseus and not feeling great- don't do so many sets. i also workout at home, and there are other leg exercises you can do

    -squatting
    -hack squat
    -deadlift
    -stiff leg deadlift

    that's my routine

Stiff legged deadlifts are the way to go.
I always thought they were a back exercise, realised I did them wrong, did them again, and kept the bar closer to my legs all the way through my lift, and my hams felt it big style.
    Squats 4 sets
    STDL 4 sets
And er... Try some other stuff

its becuase your legs are such a large muscle and require great amounts of blood to be pumped to the muscle

when your pumping blood to the quads, hams, glutes, erectors and abs your giong to get woozy keep in mind those are all the largest muscles in your body bieng worked at the same time
I've seen a 15 year old deadlift 440 lbs. first time ever touching a weight
I've witnessed a begginer increase there total 350 lbs. the first month
I myself can show you men bench pressing 821 lbs. men deadlifting nearly 940 lbs. men squatting 1104 lbs.
Powerlifting the sport of imposibility to Bodybuilders everywhere
