Macro Advice -- F Powerlifter Taking on Cycling as Commute/Cardio
Hi team! Hoping for some advice on food for cycling as cardio. I'm a female powerlifter, looking to compete at British national level. I made it to the nationals last year but unfortunately competition dates clashed with my wedding, so am going for the 2018 comps.
I generally stay fairly shredded through CICO macro-counting, and my ideal comp weight is 123lb (56kg) at 5'2".
I've started cycling 60km (27 miles) three times a week for my commute, so find myself super hungry constantly. How would you recommend I supplement my macros to keep energy for cycling, while staying lean? I don't want to just pack in carbs!! Any recommendations?
Cals/Macros currently 1200kcal -- 120g protein/75 carbs/45 fat. I'll need to lose around 5kg to make comp season next year rather than maintain
TL;DR -- lean female powerlifter starting distance cycling. Help requested with macro/calories!
