tiny bleads when training
Feel a bit dumb asking this. not really worried but wondered how come when i train my arms i bleed tiny amounts as if i have loads of tiny pin pricks along my arms.
this is too tiny to come out properly on a photo and i didn't notice myself until my wife pointed it out.
sorry if this has been asked before, i couldn't find anything on it.

That's the craziest thing I've heard on here yet....when I work arms they blush, but never bleed through. Let us know what you find out!

from wikipedia- Hematidrosis
According to Dr. Frederick Zugibe (Chief Medical Examiner of Rockland County, New York) it is well-known, and there have been many cases of it. The clinical term is hematohidrosis. "Around the sweat glands, there are multiple blood vessels in a net-like form. Under the pressure of great stress the vessels constrict. Then as the anxiety passes the blood vessels dilate to the point of rupture. The blood goes into the sweat glands. As the sweat glands are producing a lot of sweat, it pushes the blood to the surface - coming out as droplets of blood mixed with sweat

I have had this before. It means your training is super hardcore.o yes.
I thought i might of had a small spot i didnt notice which like popped under the pressure of my arms being so pumped. maybe not tho, considering a previous post by ccs77 which offers a better explanation.
This only happens when my arms are almost painfully pumped though. ive not done that for a while!

Haematohydrosis, or Keratosis Pilari that has become aggravated.

The term stress doesn't always mean mental stress. Stress can be brought upon muscles, vessels and capalaries by excersize.
I don't think this is a life threatening issue, but it wouldn't hurt to talk to a real doc. From what I've read it seems pretty rare....so kudos to you for being different than the rest of us! LOL
Good luck man.
