That's a great transformation, be very proud.
Didn't you find competing at 8% that you were blown out of the water by other competitors though?

What difference does it make? the man did an awesome job and win or lose he deserves respect..period. It isnt about winning a stupid show man, it is about winning at life. if he placed 1st or dead last...so what? who cares? he did an awesome job and i am sure he isnt even close to being done with his transformation, he has alot of time and alot of shows in his future.

I don't remember directing any questions at you. I asked because I wanted to know the general conditioning of his competitors, not because I wanted to put him down. I am doing my own small natural show soon and I was curious to know if some people do come in at around 8%. Are you familiar with the phrase "Mind your own business?" Read it, understand it, apply it.

shut your mouth when your talking to me. dont make me e-slap you. look, i dont have to mind my own business bub. this a forum not a private chat room. it "appeared" that you were trying to put the man down, my bad for misunderstanding you. yes people do come in at 8% 10% even 16% depends on the person, super low bodyfat numbers dont always apply to everyone. I have seen men compete at 4 and 5 % and look great, i have seen guys at 10 and 12% that looked awesome too. it is very individual. try to be nicer and not such a smart ass in the future, it goes a long way.

well it was a rough road my weight went up and down like crazy i would get down to about 220 or so then blow back up to 250. i finally settled around 225 and was comfortable there. i watched one of our local bodybuilding shows and decided to try it. so i trained for a year and began cutting 15 weeks out at 230lbs. i ate mostly chicken, tuna, brown rice, brocolli, and cottage cheese. it was very hard to cut down from that i figured out, so i plan on staying around 205-210lbs not competing. At 8% bodyfat i was in the race for the 4 or 5 spot. the top three in my class were clear after that it was wide open. i was the biggest guy in my class though.
My workout split
Day 1 shoulders
Day 2 arms
Day 3 legs
Day 4 Off
Day 5 Back
Day 6 chest
Day 7 Off

Yeah, saying things like "don't make me e-slap you" really makes you look like a mature human being. And yes, you do have to mind your own business, because nothing said was directed at you in any way. You are obviously an immature individual. Maybe take a few years off from the internet, mature, then come back and post, alright?
And thank you to the thread starter for clarifying for me. Congrats to you on your contest.

I have nothing to work out through PM; I just hate internet tough guys, and saying you're going to e-slap someone kind of leads one to classify you as such. If that is not the case, then fine.
To the thread starter, once again, an excellent transformation. I like seeing fellow former fatties looking ripped now.
