I'm not talking about weight training in this thead.
I'm talking about just overall workouts.
I mean, I hear stuff like you shouldn't workout more than ____ hours a day. But howcome some athletes workout 4-6 hours a day?
Is it ok as long as you get enough rest and nutrition (calories, fat, carbs, protein, water, etc..)?

bc these forums are obsessed with overtraining to the point of ridiculousness
the body is made to adapt...theyve put years into those activities, and adapted to be able to do that, and not the entire thing is max weight, etc
its different
same idea as how olympic lifters can squat 4-6 times per week

after years of training, what there doing isn't really "excersise" it's just an everyday thing that there body is use to... runners can run miles everday because that's what they do. but some people get sore after running a few miles and can't run again for few days...Post clever signature here.....
