Hey Ladies (and gentlemen),
I'm starting to finally see abdominal development, it isn't much but it's so exciting to me. The more I loose in inches the more I'm starting to see loose skin on my mid section ( espeacially around my belly button). I started off training at 160 28% BF, now I'm 140 20% BF. I'm not sure if it's because of the fat loss, or if this is a common thing for men and women. Any response will be helpful.

I understand I have the same problem and it is frusrating to see after all the work it takes to lose weight. I have definitely seen women who have had babies and don't have lose saggy skin. I think it has to do with how over weight you were and for how long or how big you got during pregnancy. My oldest sister never had a flabby stomach even after 4 kids. But I did after one but I was over weight for a little while after. So obvisiouly our make up is a little different. Plus it could be that you just hold some of your extra fat there and if you can bring your body fat down even more so it might just dissappear... Though I would never suggest a tummy tuck unless you have flaps of skin hanging since they have to cut you from hip to hip pretty much. So it's either a little lose skin or a huge scar.
I just take a look around me when I'm at the beach and even though I have some flaws that are inevitable w/ age and life in general I think I look pretty damn good... It could definitely be alot worse than a little lose skin or a few stretch marks or what ever... Think about it...Obsessed??? Is there another way?
I only listen to people who show results....

Omega 3 fats have an amazing effect on the skin. Make sure you're including fish oil capsules and/or flaxseed oil in your diet. It will tighten up over time, but maybe not as much as you'd like....I've had the same prob (from losing weight, not pregnancy) and over time it snapped into place--but it took several months post weight-loss.
