    Need another bench program beside bill starr 5x5..

    I messed up on it and I want to save it for the summer.......anyone got any good bench programs? I really wanna get to a 245 max by june



    Current max = 220-225 pounds
    Maxes
    Bench - 190 pounds - 2/16/2007
    Squat - N/A
    Deadlift - 200ish
    DB curl- 40x3

    height - 69.5 inches
    Weight - 137
    Lifting since January 2005 (seriously since Nov. 2005)

    i know abbrevi8or (sp?) used the first one and got good gains out of it.. i can't remember how much exactly though

    I definatly should give that a try....Should i put in my REAL 1RM??? or 5-10 pounds lower??

    i would use an actual 1rm that you've done, not an estimated one.. but i can't really say about the other part as i've never used this program

    how long after you max are you planning on running the rus program? it's not the best idea to max out, then go directly into a taxing program

    Also...If I fail at 225....and I get to tired to bench 220....and then cant get up 215....what should i put my max at?
