    Good enough for abs?

Is this enough for abs? I usually work them 2-3 times a week and do the following:

3-5 sets of 8-15 leg raise (machine)
3-5 sets of 8-12 hanging leg raises
3-5 sets of 10-15 decline crunches with a 35lb plate
3-5 sets of 10 with weighted crunch machine

then maybe once a week I will do some at home workout (like 8 minute abs, etc) that covers obliques too.

My abs hurt just from reading this thread. You can spend half of your workout three days a week doing abs, but at the end of the week they will still be more dependent on your BF than anything else.

That is so much...The way I've been doing it, not to say that your way is wrong, is on my lower body days of squat and deadlift I do a weighted ab exercise of 5x10-15. I like the rope curls on the machine, weighted knee and leg raises, and crunches while holding a weight over my head or behind my head.

If I remember right, leg raises target your hip flexor and use your abs as a stabilizer.

Exactly!!!! I do like 3 sets of cable crunches and some kinda leg raise once if that a week. You should train them but don't think that the more you train them the more you will see them.

of course never said he shouldn't train them but people get carried away abs and go crazy on them when really all you gotta do is drop your bodyfat and train them like any other muscle.
