i went to meet with a friend of mine earlier today for coffee, and when we were leaving, a homeless guy approached us. now usually i don't give the beggars money because i'd be homeless myself from all the donations, but this guy looked really sick and very malnourished, so i decided to give him a few dollars. i also asked my friend and she gave him some money as well.
we started talking to the guy, asking him about his life, and suddenly he starts vomiting all over us. it was the sickest smell ever. he got really embarrassed about it and offered to give us the money back, but we told him to keep it.
at that point we didn't know what to say, so we just asked him if he was going to be ok, and left. anybody been in a similar situation before? how did you deal with it?

i was homeless for about a month last year, stayed in a couple of hostels, slept rough some nights. it was the best and worst time of my life, sleeping in the city you feel alot more free and not tied down, i came home because the hostel was full of lowlives though and i couldn't cope much longer, i made my point, i had nothing else to prove.
homeless people are the most real people in the world, they judge nobody, other homeless people would show me good/safe spots to sleep if the hostels were full (which alot of the time they were, because it was winter)
if i walk past homeless people now and they are decent looking people not drugheads, i'll sit down and have a couple of smokes and a tea with them, you find they have alot of interesting sh!t to say.

I remember there were two homeless men drunk and fighting/wrestling each other in a parking lot. I used to always carry something in my pocket (apple or whatever) when I saw homeless people to give instead of money. I said to them:
"Hey you guys stop fighting and have something to eat for a moment." (Paraphrase). They looked at me as I handed them a can of sardines...turned up the pin and started sharing/eating it with their hands. They seemed like buddies at that point.
A homeless person once tried to spit in my face and was verbally abusive though and I had him charged. If you are suffering from serious medical concerns please be sure to check with your doctor.

Yeah...I deal with situations similar to that regularly. If you offer to buy a cup of coffee for someone who wants money for coffee they get offended. But a lot just spend it on drugs and I don't want to support that. Sometimes they are grateful and really want a hot coffee, a bowl of soup or such.

Hello. Pat Bateman.
You want some, uh, money ?
Some food ?
- Is this what you need ? - I'm-I'm hungry.
Yeah. Cold out too, isn't it ?
Why don't you get a job ? If you're so hungry, why don't you get a job ?
I lost my job.
Why ? You drinking ?
Is that why you lost it ? Insider trading ?
Just joking.
Listen, what's your name ? Al.
Hmm ? Speak up. Come on. Al.
Get a goddamn job, Al.
You got a negative attitude. That's what's stopping you.
You gotta get your act together. I'll help you.
You are so kind, mister. You're a kind-- You're a kind man.
It's okay. I can tell.
Please, you gotta tell me what to do. You gotta help me.
I'm so cold, I'm hungry.
You know how bad you smell ?
You reek of ****. Do you know that ?
Al.
I'm sorry. It's just that--
I don't know.
I don't have anything in common with you.I never smile if I can help it. Showing one's teeth is a submission signal in primates. Whenever someone smiles at me, all I see is a chimpanzee.......begging for its life.

If ever I give homeless people money, I just drop it in and leave.
Friendship b/w women:
A woman doesn't come home one night. The next day she tells her husband she slept over at a girlfriend's place. Her husband calls 10 of her best friends. None know anything about it.
Friendship b/w men:
A man doesn't come home one night. The next day he tells his wife he slept over at a friend's place. His wife calls 10 of the husband's best friends. 8 of them confirm he slept over, the other 2 claim he's still there.
