My lips feel weird (serious)

Last week I woke up and my lips were extremely dry and all cracked... I have NO idea why since I wasn't out in the wind or anything. I made nothing of it, well a week later they are still the same.... I can barely even open my mouth to eat because they are SO dry. I have to put lip balm on them like every 15 minutes just to be able to talk/eat etc.

I live in TX and it's like 80 degrees so it's not the weather. Why would this happen and what can I put on them to make them heal up?

maybe you need to hydrate yourself more...you been in an air-conditioned place? cause that can make anyone feel dry..

Lol just messin...did you drink last night? Mine always get really dry when I drink the night before because of dehydration.

Nah they've been like this for a week now, i've been upping the water like crazy and nothing. is vaseline toxic?

Sometimes lip balm with menthol in it can actually dry out yor lips more. Switch to straight vaseline and see if that helps.

Drink more water too.

my lips get very dried out too when i play alot of hockey or snowboard in really cold weather.
try a medicated lip balm like lip medex, it works great. also if the skin around your mouth or nose is bothering you, try aveeno.
