    Exclamation new to the board!

new to board...with before and after pics
Hello everyone...I have included some pics...the top pic(grey trunks) is the latest pic(august 2002). I am a little more cut at 204 right now. I am trying to stay at the same bf% until dec. 29th, but get back to about 207-208. I plan on starting my 16 week(yes, that long) precontest diet on dec. 29th. I am going to TRY to lean out to 174(end of the middleweight class) I would like some feedback. Anyone who has done a show before>>PLEASE let me know if you think that 174 will be too light. I don't want to lose too much muscle.

    thanks!
    KING!

you and i have similar statistics. Looking at your pictures...WORK ON YOUR POSING...i cannot stress this enough. Hardly anyone is prepared posing wise for their first show
i think 174 is a good weight although if you dip down to the 160's that won't be too bad. You will lose muscle when dieting...dieting is catabolic...muscle loss happens...it's anavoidable. You can keep it to a minimum however by timing your carb intake properly along with adequate protein intake etc.

    hmmm

Thanks, Does anyone else have any tips??? Do you think that 18 weeks of cutting would be better than 16 weeks? Would that be too long? Would that take away from the bulking time that I have left. I only have like 3 weeks left to bulk and I'm not really where I want to be. What do ya think?

I'll say this...coming in more cut is always better than coming in bigger. never sacrifice cuts for size...trust me on this one.

    WOW,

    impressive pics!!

    You've done very well.

Especially your upper-body is very well developed. Do some extra squatting so your legs will keep pace.
