I started the session with very ****ty efforts in Hang clean and box squat, so I said **** it and just went to bench. My friend egged me on to do 225, so I did it and got 10 reps (+2 PR)-No failure, but 11th rep probably wasn't in the cards.
I then did 245x5(+1 PR)
Then my friend just got me to go for a 1rm, so I put on 280 and hit it. And it was a grind.
280 after max reps at 225 leaves me with alot of optimism that I can hit 300 soon.
