    Rice Protein?

Im assuming the answer is yes, but i wanted to be sure, and also out of curiosity.
My mom, who is a little sick (sinus-y and allergy-ish) is tweaking things in her diet and life and stuff to try and get better. (its been a couple months now of being sickish. no fun.)
anyway, she isnt sure, but to be careful, she switched from whey or soy protein powders, incase she is allergic (they are common allergies), to a rice-based protein powder.

I just wanted to know if this is as good as whey or soy, etc. Basically out of curiosity.
    thanks all!

It is much less readily absorbed.

If she wants to switch, have her get pea protein, which is bioavailable and has a good amino acid profile.
