How 'bout this, if you try your best you've got a shot at becoming a pro and making millions of dollars. That should be all the confidence boost you need!

If you've managed to make it there, you're probably pretty good.
Now just think of it this way. If you wuss out now, you'll be losing the opportunity of a lifetime. You'll look back years from now saying, "I could have been a pro if I tried harder. Wow did I miss that chance."
Do you really want to be saying that? Play your damn heart out and show those guys what football is about.
BTW: Manchester United FTW. =P

Cheers guys. Yes im not too bad esp in training and off the pitch. But when i step onto that pitch i just loose all confidence which then has a knock on effect then i loose all heart and spirit. Just know one mistake could cost us the game

I used to be like that , i would think about a game for days before, and get really nervous whenever it came around - maybe you just think about it too much

just play your best, you were not selected for the semi-pro u-18 for no reason.... dont think on the field, just act.. if you carry on with this low confidence you're gonna get dropped from the squad
go to some training sessions, watch some matches, some player videos on youtube (ive actually watch buffon's, chec's and casillias's best saves and made notes on how their techniques work eg positioning im a goalie btw)
what postion do you play?

all i can say is practice makes perfect... dont become a self-fulfilling prophecy (thinking you're going to make a crap pass means you will make a crap pass)
concentrate on the ball, know where your team mates are

Hmm. I don't really know what to suggest. Are your teammates friendly to you, or are they a-holes? Cause I know that, unless your team is an actual TEAM that supports and helps each other, its hard for everyone to play to the best of their ability.

Well think of it this way, when of your mates messed up in a match, you've never took it to heart and give them **** about it. so neither will they
