Everywhere i read, it says Wide Stance Powerlifting squats recruit the posterior chain more then High Bar olympic squats(ATG), however in my expierence since switching to ATG squats, it seems to me that my hamstrings are getting worked as good if not better then when i was squatting wide stance style? So basically what im asking is, am i just imagining that my hammies are getting worked as well or do ATG Squats really hammer the hamstrings as well as they hammer the quads?
i've always had better hamstring results with wide stance pl squat then a narrow stance atg oly squat. you'll feel both in the whole leg, i just think there's more stress on the hams during pl than oly.
