DJohnson, i think he is talking about the TEA bags.. because he is talking about making his own.
Fordracing... if its unsweetened, then its fine. i drink tea with splenda all the time. my weight lost is going great. i highly doubt unsweetend lipton tea will make any diffrence, if your diet and exc routine is in check/

As long as it's unsweetened, you should be fine. I can't stomach hot tea (literally - makes me nauseous), but can drink iced tea by the gallon....go figure ...

Not quite as much antioxidents as green tea , but still a great source and very good for you. I don't know what exactly is in the green tea that helps with weight loss. One thing I have found is that if you use 6-7 green tea bags per gallon along with 3-4 of the original Lipton it pretty much tastes like the original.
As a side note, add a little Black pepper to your food when you are drinking tea . It aids in the obsorbtion of the antioxidents. Avoid drinking hot tea with milk. The milk blocks the antioxidents.Last edited by colubrid; 03-25-2006 at 05:26 PM.
