    Favorite Trout Lures?

Right now I'm just holding my breath until trout season starts in a month or so around here. Just wondering what everyone's favourite trout lures/rigs are for both lake and river/stream fishing.

    Some of my favourites are

Mepps aglia and chartreuse rooster tail for river fishing in the spring and I tend to switch to roe bags later on in the late summer/early fall.

For lake I tend to go with little cleo 5/8oz either blue and silver or green and silver, that seems to be that works well for me around here.
    I usually rep back.

"And when that time comes and you find something standing if front of you, something that ain't running and ain't backin up and is hittin on you and you're too damn tired to breathe. You find that situation on you, that's good, Cuz that's baptism under fire! Oh you get through that and you find the only kind of respect that matters in this world, Self respect."

Piece of corn on a hook, trail it in some tail waters. You can actually get a fake version made by Berkley too.
Seriously though, I like to use some jigs or wet flies I tie myself.

    I've got a lure...

Funny, I bought it thinking it looked like a Pike Fry... It's a rattling glass husky jerk... I bought it right before going on a week long vacation to a lake loaded with Pike and Pannies...

And I slaughtered with that lure...

The one day I out fished the entire boat combined trolling with it...

So my buddy decided to go out and get one for himself...

Two weeks after we get back he goes up on Superior with some family member who's got a fishing boat up there... The guy up there looks in my buddy's tackle box and tells him that the Pike Fry HJ, is actually a trout Fingerling mimic... My buddy puts it on and SLAYS the lake trout...

Brought in like 3 fish over 18 pounds!

Now as the 2006 Tackle Shopping sprees have begun, everyone of my fishing buddys has one of those lures in some various size or another!
