What are the best amino acids to take for recovery?

Should i go for BCAA's, complete amino's, EAA, L-glutamine, another single amino acid?

I know each has their own purpose, and each is good for their reasons, but what is the best option when recovery is of upmost importance?

Edit: I know muscle recovery and building muscle can be seen as one. I restate the question as "Whats the best amino acids to avoid or overcome overtraining?

    Thanks

I would get BCAA/EAA, They will both aid in recovery and help you pack on mass. The better the recovery the less chance you got of overtraining. It would be very good idea to sip on BCAA/EAA pre/during/post workout to keep you anabolic. I personally take ScivationXtend+Substance WPI and sip this per/during/post workout. Since doing this I have been able to move to a six day split with very high volume and making great progress. Scivation Xtend also has glutamien and Citrulline Malate in it.
Some other supplements to look into, Bulk BCAA, Ergophram All In one.

I would have to say the BCAA's I would think would be the best but EAA would not be bad either.

leucine is the best amino acid for recovery... but if you just take str leucine it creates an imbalance with the other bcaa aminos -- thus it is recommend you take a 2:1:1 mix of BCAAs -- xtend, ice, mrm and most premixed bcaas will have this ratio.

EAAs, imnot so sure about them.. i know their very benficial tho and you cant go wrong! ergos all in one seems to be a solid choice for many.

**-- amino acids wont avoid/overcome overtraining, they will just provide a large assistance in aiding with growth + recovery. your experience/routine/genetics is what will determine overtraining.

l-glutamine is not a BCAA. When it comes to bcaa you dont want to throw it to fat out of balance.

I am not so sure about this imbalance. everyone here says taking bulk leucine only creates some sort of imbalance. Is there anything that backs this up? I would LOVE to read a study where people on a high protein diet took bulk leucine and it somehow created an imbalance of the other 2 BCAA's. As long as your protein intake is sufficient, I cannot see a problem with taking leucine only

its in one of these threads -- im not sure which, i read them all the other day to figure out what is better, eaa or bcaa

    http://www.forum.bodybuilding.com/sh...62&postcount=7

I've come to the conclusion it is be best to use both
EAAs pre+post workout with BCAA during workout, and throughout the day
(its expensive though, so this would only be ideal)

to save $ i would suggest
    EAAs pre/post during a bulk
    and BCAA pre/during/post during cuts
prolly the cheapest way to use them and see results

I personally have an stain in pants from the anxiety building up in anticpation of the combination of purple wraath + xtend...
