cardio is junk for burning fat! of course you'll lose a few pounds but nothing burns calories and fat like lifting weights.
typical cardio only burns calories/energy while your doing it.
Lifting weights can burn calories/energy for up to 48 hours after your done exercising!
Would you rather burn calories/energy for 1 hour of cardio, or 1 hour of weights plus up to 48 hours extra from recovery?

um.. ya cuase its not like doing high intensity cardio will keep your metabolic rate up for hours and hours afterword.
Its not like cardio is really good at promoting blood flow and nutrient repartioning.
As well as strengthening the heart to pump blood to your muscle tissue.
Not to mention all of the other health benefits that cardio is NOT responsible for.The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and hear all kinds of talk, get told that you're a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. seriously if i wanted to loose weight, i'd just run nonstop....
weight lifting is great too because more muscle = more calories burning regularly
also eat only good and nutritious food and not crap
but just look at all the long distant runners. every single one of them are extremely skinny because all they do is run. take it slowly and work your way up to it. eventually you should get to a point where you are running for like 3+ miles every mourning. or at least every other mourning
bring water with you and do that under the burning hot sun and i guaruntee you'll loose weight fast as long as you have what it takes to push yourself that much

Have fun playing hamster with that treadmill work, its a joke. Your kicking your legs over a moving belt; i've had farts that were more intense that that.
Go try doing sprints while pushing a wheelbarrel or put some bricks in a backpack and run up some stairs.
Try doing power cleans and presses with lighter weight for sets to total failure. Thats intensity.
Balancing yourself over a spinning belt or lifting your legs up and down while keeping your balance is a joke, hardly any real work effort there.
Whatever, you "Johnny 3-weeks" are all pros, your invite to the Olympia is in the mail.
