    my morning protein drink makes me feel sick

    ive only changed to this the last 2 days.. but it makes me feel really sick when i drink it
    any idea why this would make me feel this way and what part it would be from?

    i have

    250ml milk
    2 eggs
    1 scoop ON 100% any whey protein powder
    2 scoops icecream

    could be lactose intolerance or it could just be that is quite a bit of liquid calories at one time. Try splitting it up, half now half maybe an hour later, or try it with some whole food

    You are eating a ton of fats in the morning unless the milk and ice cream is low fat and you are only eating the egg whites, I have heard people being sick because of a heavy amount of fat in a little amount of time.

    Also you have been on this diet for two days so there maybe a hump you need to get over before your body begins to fully accept the food.

    Yup, its the sugar-alcohols from the low-fat low-carb ice cream. Sorbitol and maliltol are probably the culprits.

    i actually have the same problem if i have milk early in the morning.. that's why i buy proteins that taste good with water for morning shakes...

    I used to get the same thing with my morning shake, then I started chasing it with a half liter of water, and that seemed to quell the raging beast. In my case I think it was just the sudden onrush of highly concentrated sources of carbohydrates and protein after 8-12 hours of nothing, and it just shocked the system.

    What do you mean you "can't" eat solid food in the morning? You are drinking liquid ice cream mixed with eggs for breakfast for crying out loud, and you wonder why you are sick to your stomach? Force yourself to eat healthy solid food for a week like say toast, cooked eggs, chicken, maybe a banana and you will get used to it and never be sick again. Forget shakes for breakfast, and especially forget ice cream!

    no, i already told you, i cant eat a big solid meals after i wake up
    ill get thru about 1 slice of toast and thats the absolute most i can handle
    a lot of people have this problem

    there is no problem with having a shake first thing when u wake up

    I enjoy my shakes. I used to hate them, but I found a decent mix of flavors could mask the ****ty taste of whey protein.

    1c FF milk
    2tbs natty pb
    2 scoops ON chocolate whey
    5-6 ice cubes
    1 banana

    650 cals
    19g fat
    52g carb
    66g protein
