Any of u guys work out in school?
Because of my schedule I only do biceps and calves in school. There's obviously a lack of cables but that doesn't bother me at all.
Anybody here do that? jus wonderin.

I go to the weight room once and a while at lunch for plyos/abs now because I have fitness class...
So far its been
Setpember-December -- FOOTBALL Once a week workout on saturday at local gym
December-Februart -- Schoool Weight room at lunch
February-June -- Homeroom Fitness Class (Literally a Weight lifting class some people bitch and complain its too repetitive and i laugh and say you get to change your rep ranges :P
in June I am buying a year round membo at my local athletic club... its about a 40+ minute walk 10 minute drive from my moms and a 15 minute drive from my dads and probably a ****ing 2 hour walk but I get rides out from my dads.
EDIT: School weight room is only open during Lunch on mon,wed,fri so including getting books and eating u get 45 minutes to warm up/warm down/end of workout stretch... its great.. /sarcasm
I love going to the gym because I don't feel rushed... I'm not one of those kids who stays all day and is making **** all progress due to improper rest periods... I time 75 second rest periods between sets unless I'm superseting but It gives me time to make sure I'm using proper tempo (Right now 3:0:3) and I get to warmup (Light intensity plyo excercises, 5 minutes on bike) and warmdown (10 minutes on bike, Stretch)
Its only 42 bucks a month and its a really high quality facility with some uneducated staff and some staff who actually know ****... (I quizzed my mom on her PT to make sure she didn't get the one that told me to replace DL with SLDL cuz they were useless)

Mines only at lunch, I wish it was after school as posted above you get **** all for time...
Theres this kid whos like 5'5" 105 lbs 12% bf and he goes in loads 445 on the leg press and his ROM was so bad and his tempo was like 0.5:1:0.5 he wouldve got a better workout walking around the weight room... And he doesnt even 90% Bench and he does Quarter squats on the smyth machine

I take my schools weight lifting class, teacher is actually knowledgable and hes huge... We get to sit down and disscus a customized workout plan with him, he has also given good lectures on nutrition ect
Lifting is the best period of the day, actually...it MAKES my day

My school is lame........ They are afraid that I'll "kill myself" even with the powerlifters for spotting, even they arnt even allowed in there only when their coach is in there with them. I think I should start powerlifting next year, should of did it this year but no time.

yeah
our class goes to the wieghtroom twice a week for an overall strength program its way to beginer me and the big guys just hate waiting for our turn,,, theres majority of our class starting at 65 pounds bench press and the people doing 180 for leg press by time passes the teacher usuallly racks on some weight... so i mainly just use the captains chair and barbell curls at our weight room ..
it sucks really having people think theyre crazy because their 1 rep is 85 wastes's my whole gym peroid.. big take advantage of what you have its better than nothing

some kids squat the entire olympic bar... and then superset it with 135 lb leg press... then they super set barbell preacher curls with incline hammer dumbell curls...

hahaha shiet bro ,, but we do have some serious freaks in our school our grade 9 roid monkey can put up 260 on bench his freakin chest comes out a few feet its so ugly ,, girls are disgusted ... what makes me mad our lifters are seperated in two differant categorys the genetic freak and the skinny pinners,, we got like thirty genetic freaks in our gradde im barely in top ten biggest grade 9s the skinny guys bench the bar with the trouble ////good luck with ur training if theirs to many pinners hogging up the gym do what i do....// enter the weightroom grunt like a madman say " go squat or gtfo " they should all leave

haha yeah same our teacher says we should be done all our workout in 30 min and ppl like take 10 minutes at every "station" all i got done today was pushups situps and a freakin jump rope

too many people crowded...i thought it was a good gym...but it aint one and it doesnt motivate me at all..with gay music and people doing ropes/pushups/situps and 24/7 curls
