How to get body out of weight comfort zone
Help, I cannot get below 145. No matter how good I eat or how much I exercise, I find it very difficult to get below 140 minimum. I'm shedding pounds now pretty quickly but again I stopped at 145. Is there any exercises I can do to kinda shock my body out of this comfort spot? I know it cant be genetics because in high school I was 116. After I graduated I became kinda thick but proportionate. Right now im staying as close to nature as possible and exercise about 5 times a week. Any ideas?

Count calories and adjust based on how your body responds. I've found there's a limit to how low I can get my weight if I try to eat intuitively. You may also want to get a copy of Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto. I found it very helpful. I have a review for it here - http://www.hotnfit.com/nutrition/bffmreview.html#top

It's an ebook only. There isn't a print version unfortunately.

Not sure what your diet or routine looks like but try changing things up. Try carb cycling, keto, 40/40/20, new exercises, different time aday, longer workout times etc.. something different.... I know its worked for me when i hit a road block and i know what you mean about the Weight comfort zone for the longest time i couldnt get below 225 and if i stop working out + diet i go right back to 225 and hover there but through a change in diet more and different cardio ive started to lose again but at a much slower rate but im still droppin fat.
Also as Reaper said if you have a super strict diet try a refeed that has helped me in the past as well. Good luck and whatever you do dont give up

when I got stuck at 181lbs, I tweaked my diet so that I was having slightly less calories. logged my food for a couple of days to make sure I was eating super-clean. I also took a week off from weights and did just cardio (HIIT and steady) since then, I do 20 mins cardio after every lifitng session.
basically, I upped the ante in all areas

you can do what you call a 'double day split', where you do weights twice a day. you do a lower body circuit workout in the morning, and an upper body circuit workout in the arvo. be careful, its pretty intense and you must have a proper diet to aid in recovery. also, its pretty impractical for busy people lol
but i did it for 2 weeks. 6 days on 1 day off. i dropped fat pretty rapid.

Ah
Well right now I'm eating veggies and fruit for lunch. Nature bars for breakfast and salad or baked chicken for dinner. Plenty of water. Im working out about 5 days a week. 20 min cardio on the bike and 10 min on whatever else i feel like for that day. Also light weight training. I just started this regimen about 2 weeks ago. Hopefully I can stick to it!

That sounds like very very little food. No wonder you've stalled. Your body is trying to hold onto your fat.
Maybe try the body for life program, www.bodyforlife.com

Sorry took so long
Sorry it took so long for me to reply. Yeah I found out that the more you eat the more you loose so your body wont hold on to fat. It thinks your trying to starve yourself. Thats such a hard concept to grasp though.

You're most likely not eating enough.
