    Pointless bulk?

    I've been cutting for the past 6 weeks and i'm at about 10 -11% body fat. In 10 weeks i'll be in mexico and i want to be around 9%.

    Thing is, i have nothing to do until then.

    I decided the other day i'd do a quick bulk for 4 weeks and then switch back to a cut and get really lean.. but if i do that is there even any point to the bulk? I won't gain any considerable muscle mass in that time.

    It just seems like a waste of time for me to do maintenance for 10 whole weeks.

    So maintenance, cut or bulk?

    I would say just lift as heavy as possible/eat what you want but try and stay as clean as possible and just see where that takes you.

    Why don't you cut until Mexico, then bulk afterwards? Or just clean bulk now till all the way through.

    Think of it as a mini contest prep. Get yourself ultra lean for mexico, take a week off during your vacation and come back renewed and ready to slowly add quality weight. If you do a TKD type diet you can stay lean and build muscle mass concurrently.

    i say keep cutting but slow it down...tweak alot of stuff...see what works the best for you. no point in bulking thats for sure. same with maintenance...why not just keep improving????
