I'm pretty positive I have tendonitis or something similar in my left elbow, which kills me because I cant lift at all except for legs abs and cardio. What do you guys recommend I do to maintain the muscle I have best while not lifting heavy?
Im thinking a tub of xtend, iCE or Purple wraath.. creatine.. and a ton of protein. Anything else besides the basics you recommend would help??

I think i have the same thing, if you bend your elbow and twist your wrist/forarm outwards does it hurt, but not specifically at the elbow? Mine hurts like on the top but feels connected to the tendons/ligaments around the elbow area. I'm hoping mine just gets better. I might try fish oil, msm, glucosamine chondroitan and maybe some grape seed extract for the Proanthocyanidins (helps protect and strengthen connective tissue also considered helpful in improving and preserving the elasticity of skin by stabilizing collagen and elastin.)
Might want to consider gelatin & collegan as well or look into taking them. Watch the omega-6 intake and maybe wear an elbow brace when you work out? That is probably what I will do.A former shadow of myself

ill look in to the animal flex for sure. 357mag.. my pain is intense whenever i make my arm straight or bend it at the wrong angle. Its on the outside tip of my elbow and man is it painful.
I know how you feel, makes me almost depressed because I cant hit the gym!! and the worst part is is that im towards the end of an activate xtreme cycle and ive been hitting PR's nearly every workout! Which come to think of it may have been part of the problem.[]D[][]V[][]D[][]\[] [][]\[] '10

Nope, dont think so but I haven't gone to a doc yet. Its weird though because I didn't actually hurt it at a specific time. One night a few hours after my workout I just reached to grab a drink and a sharp pain hit my elbow. That was about a month ago. I laid low, and the pain went away so I bought an elbow wrap which helped a lot and I hit the gym again. Probably not the best idea. Now it hurts worse than before...

Some glucosamine/MSM/chondrotin mix... I like Orange TRIad since it's a multi too. SuperCissus is said to be a great product for it too though I haven't tried it.
I had massive tendonitus when I used to play tennis and first started lifting. All you can do if stretch appropriately and accordingly. Stretch before you workout. In between sets if it hurts that bad. And after you workout. Stretch when you're not working out too. It will help immensely. But I found that glucosamine helps the most. I had the same prob. Took Glucosamine, after 3 weeks it was gone. Now I take CL's Orange Triad as a preventative measure.
