A good day for a drive.
Today I had the day off and once the clouds started to raise enough to see the mountains my wife and I decided to go for a drive up in the canyon. The canyon is Lamoille Canyon in north eastern Nevada by a place called Elko.
Below is what we saw from the road. We see mountain goats up here all the time but never this close to the road. We also saw around 25 mule deer before we entered the canyon and a total of 2 mountain goats.
Hopefully when the weather clears up we can get some hiking in and get some good close ups.

This sure beats work.

That's pretty amazing I spent years up in Montana on the divide and only glimpsed 2 or 3 lucky find.

That's just incredible. I've only seen things like that in pictures. My wife and I took a drive last weekend, and the only thing of significance that we saw was the Limerick nuclear power plant.
