Molecular Nutrition Rep
Great post, his chest is catching up to those monster arms. I hope Heath wins the O within the next 2 yrs. Melvin looked pretty amazing yesterday too when he guest posed while presenting the best posing award.

War against genetics
I didn't think his arms could get any better...but there they are...damn.
I just wish he was able to widen his back more...its still his weakest link, and more so only because all his other parts and so strong.

Agreed. He also has a very peculiar pectoral shape. IDK if that would hold him back per se, but that's a genetic trait he can't do anything about which could affect his placing.

You noticed that too eh? Its not so apparent when he hits a side pose, but front poses and transitions its really noticable.

the lighting played a role too
LOL...trust me...most of the judges have no idea who is signed with who, nor would they care.
Ronnie won the Olympia in 98 when he was with Met-Rx...not Weider.
Jay was with ISS when he took second in 01...
Kai Greene was with NOBODY, until this last month.
They judge on what they see...nothing else. Everyone loves a good conspiracy, and a justification as to why THEIR favorite didn't win....

Yeah. I don't think it looks bad though, it's just very different. It would be nice to see him be the O champ though. I don't think that something like muscle shape should be a basis for losing a competition when the conditioning, symmetry, proportion, etc are all correct.

I'm not training anymore I give up after looking at those pics.
Bodybuilding is all about image not numbers, when you're up on stage your lifting stats and bodyfat % means nothing to the judges.

gettin my SWOLE on
Everyone Is Always Bashing Heath About His Chest And Lack Of Back Width...at The End Of The Day Phil Genitically Dosen't Have A Wide Chest So All He Can Do Is Make It Thick As Possible Which Has Done..but No One Seems To Gon About THAT DO THEY!?...
Also His Bak..his Structure Does Not Allow Him To Posess A Wide Back Period!..he Has Worked With Wat He As Got And Hes Done A Good Job With It Being Thick And Detailed..the End!

When he first came to the stage, I was speechless. If he can bring that condition to the arnold dexter is definately gonna have his hand full. Its gonna be intresting to see kai, phil and dexter together, thats gonna be a battle.

I have come to the conclusion that 15lbs is a lot.
Spike92 is 15.
^ place this in your sig to remind the world that Spike92 is indeed 15 and will never be anything other than 15.

"...that's the great virtue of the free market, of the private market. It enables people...who hate one another...who don't speak the same language...who would fight one another if they had the chance, to cooperate economically. We were able to deal with China when China was a communist state. Even though we thought that that was a terrible arrangement, we could still cooperate. And that's what markets enable people to do. They bring freedom with them."

I think if phil skipped the o' again and made the same kind of improvements for another year he could really compete at the 09' olympia.

But let's remember he only had to go throught a good conditioned Gustavo since the Xman was off...Now it's his real test,Dexter Jackson,an improved Melvin,an outstanding Branch for what Bob is saying,an possible dark horse named Kai Greene,Gustavao again, probably a better peaked Toney Freeman, also a better peaked JOJ for sure,i mean now it's gonna get dirty and Phil has his hands full so don't give him the victory just yet...I put my money as Dex has big words to say about it!!!

I don't think he needs a year off I think he'll do very well this year and the next.
