Lean mass lost

How much lean mass do you guys usually lose on a cut? What do you consider a fairly low amount? Thanks!

For me a low amount would be 10% or less. If I can lose fat on a 9 to 1 ratio in terms of fat to muscle loss, that would be excellent. Usually, I lose 70-80% fat on a cut in terms of weight, the remaining being muscle. As long as I am not careless on a bulk and go slowly, results can be accomplished.

Keep in mind, my method uses calipers and they can be off. It's hard to know the exact percent so any numbers are rounded from caliper readings.

I've read its more of 4:1 pound ratio of fat loss to muscle loss with most diets, obviously the more time you give yourself to diet, the more muscle you will maintain.
