Higher than 5% for sure, i'd say somewere between 9-11% is more accurate.

that doesn't look like 5% to me, maybe he's not flexing hard, I had my bf taken at 10% about 2.5 weeks ago and mine looked about like that.

i posted the pic i did in comparasion tothe other one on the tread. if you could only look at one part of the body to judge bodyfat the midsection would pro be picked ny evey practitioner, why? because its were fat is normally first stored on males and then additional fat is distributrd over the rest of the body. your not going to find a guy who is over 15% bodyfat that has a visible 6 pack, where as he might have vety good arms, see what im getting at?

i was responding to the original poster.
obviously if one had to choose, the midsection would be the part of the body to choose. yeah, the original posted asked for an estimation based on that photo, but i commented that of course a more revealing photo would be much better for estimating body fat percentage.
i honestly feel that i am below 10%! lol.. i had abs 15 lbs ago.. its kind of hard to tell by just a pic of the midsection agreed.. but that is all i had.. i dont know if this helps.. but in the right lighting i have veins running all the up to my top of my abdomen.. and i have horrible vascularity..
Your body fat is irrelevant. The judges do not have skinfold calipers...they use thier eyes. I say you are in a pretty good spot for a month out...but keep dieting. You need to be leaner. As a general rule, you can not lose too much body fat for these shows.

comom people...the guy is under 6% for sure......nobody looks in contest shape in normal days...the sodium depletion, carb up and etc make a guy really more defined + the pump up wich brings vascularity and muscles out to have the paper skin look......... you can´t compare a 5%bf on stage with a 5% on normal people life that is holding water and etc.............. Plus a 8% bf of a huge guy is much more ripped then a 5% of a less muscular person....i have 2 skiny cousins...they have no muscle...they have no abs showing even with huge lighting...and they both 4 and 6% body fat.......they do got some vascularity but nothing compared to me at 5-6%......................
so people just judjing bf% say really stupid **** ..........you are very lean and if your seing ab vascularity you are under 7% for sure no doubt........i think you are under 6% for sure....but this you got judge by calipers............
the general consencius is that if ab vascularity is visible means that you are under 7% under...i personally never saw people 8% over with visible ab vascularity....

regardless of what his bf is, you dont know by just pulling up a shirt exactly. if he can get a pic of that, just have one of him with his shirt off. Would help out alot more. his abs look good, but its to hard to tell what he is at exactly.

hey thx a lot for the comments.. at least i will have some confidence in this comp.. im really friggin nervous and excited and tired.. i dont know what the heck is goin on.. this sodium depletion stuff is tearin me up after my workout today.. I wil put picks up of the show when it is over next week

i understand you...but people just tend to tink 5% is ultra lean because they see people at contests and on magasines on 5% really ripped....but that a full effect of carbing up, plus sodium deplete and replete, plus pumping up and finally lots of posing oil......... now in the real world if you take your shirt off and compare yourself to a 5% person ou will basically see the only differece is that there is no fat being carried on lower abs........ on the real world ther is no big differences on visual between 5-9%.........only vascularity and lower abs ............
