Here's the scoop on home stuff.
Bodysolid and others used to make silly assed claims that their stuff could handle 1000lbs, knowing full well that it would never be put to the test.
They have all stopped this and adopted the basic ap[proach of York Barbell (who's stuff probably CAN handle 1000lbs)
The basic idea is that for home use equipment, olympic units are designed to handle a standard 300lb Olympic weight set.
I've only exceeded 400 on my smith once or twice, too hard to rack.
So if you are a basic lifter who does reps in the 200 range and works squats in the 300 range, it should be good.
Personal opinion is that if this: http://www.fitnessfactory.com/Fitnes...ction&linkid=3 is the rack you are considering, it is a beast and will handle into the 300's without a sweat.
HOWEVER, if this: http://bodysolid.com/showroom/freewe...th/wmpr80.html is the rack you are looking at, I don't like it without the lat attachment for added stability.
I still feel that a full power cage is the best.
    Good luck

I bought this one, and in 2 weeks I also have a lat-attachment and dip-attachment.

As long as you have the lat attachment, you should be able to go well into the 300's before you need to be concerned.
