WTF is this I go out of my way to buy their overpriced crap and it turns out to be just that.
I'm sticking to the premium Bumblebee brand. Look at this crap:
When I first opened it up and plopped it onto the saucerbones everywhereand skin wolven through out the entire chunk of meat
closeup
the spine that I tore from the center of the meat:
If I had a cat I wouldn't feed it this slop, its covered with fat the spinal bones are still attached there are rib bones strewn throughout the chunk of meat and even when I spend 20minutes picking through it it ust tastes awful. I figured if it was 2.99 a can it would be something fancy but it isn't

Lots of canned salmon is like that. The canning process softens the bones so much you can actually just eat all of it. There's nothing wrong with skin either, you can eat that as well. Sorry buddy, that's just run of the mill salmon hehe...if you buy the big normal sized cans, it's just a cross-section of the fish, spine and all.

I only eat Salmon if I buy it fresh. I have bought tinned Salmon in the past and hated it all the way. Tuna and Frozen White Fish Fillets is the way forward.

good timing! i was going to have that exact same thing for lunch. i don't mind the bones but i usually throw out the skin. the TJ's is very pricey and i do prefer my canned fish to be a bit firmer than that salmon appears in the pics...

the can didn't say anything about containing bones and skin. It was their most expensive line of salmon I thought it would be pretty clean. like bumblebee brand salmon
that looks like they threw the whole fish in a meat grinder and dumped it in the can.
oh almost forgot, I turned 24 today. I share a birthday with Kim Jong Il and Sonny Bono.Last edited by Maestro; 02-16-2008 at 07:10 AM.

Yeah the first time I had canned salmon I was like "WTF they forgot to take out the bones" haha I ate it anyway and I thought it was pretty disgusting. I don't eat canned salmon. I bake salmon fillets. Much better!
