Yes, they also are high in fiber and complex carbs.
Avoid the kinds with added sugar.

I like beans, especially when they are inside some Taco Bell dish. Boy they are de-lish-us.

Beans are great if you can handle em... I'm allergic to em tho, so when I eat em, the gas is a bazillion times worse. I farted on the back bus and bus driver had to open his window it was so bad. Good times... Good times...

Beans have protein, but I would not consider them to be a fiber/complex carb type of food.
