low intensity cardio (walking) after lifting (reps for good info)

just making sure that this wont inhibit any muscle recovery.

i searched and found some mixed review (as always) just wondering what the general consensus is now.

im asking because i kinda slacked today lifting. i still did all the weights, but i rested a lot between sets because i ended up talking to people, something i never do...... i would like to do a little walking today and its been about 40 min since my workout, already had my PWO shake.

Its fine to do low intensity cardio post-lifting. In fact, Derek(aka Beast) and ChuckRD, two very knowledgable members here, recommend it. The key is to make sure you follow up your training with a good post-workout meal(lots of carbs and lean protein).

I'd like to add: If you are an ecto, stay clear. If you are an endo or a meso, have at it.

    Easy way to put things.

17%? Then you aren't an ecto. ectos are naturally skinny and have problems putting on ANY weight

I didn't advocate you don't do cardio. The question was cardio after a workout. After a workout, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure you are in a severe catabolic state, which could be quite detremental to an ecto who has trouble gaining.
