This is my transformation over 2 years
Didn't really have money for the gym, so I stuck to my house doing P90X and P90X2 the whole time :P
(Still never been in a gym before lmao)
It's me at Age 16 - about 120 pounds & about 1 month into working out.
Then it's me now Age 18 - 180 pounds. Took only mass gaining protein shakes along the way ^-^ (Can't afford pre-workouts yet XD)

Can't post my pictures here as I am new to the site and haven't made enough forum posts yet. But feel free to check out my profile where you can see my before and after pictures. I talk a bit about my progress and my training over the past two months in my About Me section.

My Progress
So I tore my ACL and part of my Meniscus in Augustand after surgery I lost about 15 lbs. The first Picture is where I am now, the second picture is where I was about 2 years ago, and the 3rd picture is where I was about 3 months before my injury. I know all the angles and lighting are different so don't hate.
I'm back up to about 171, my biggest I was at 175 but my right leg is still needing work. 2 years ago I was only at 155 so 20lbs or so of progress!Everybody wants to be a body builder, but nobody wants to lift no heavy ass weights! -Ronnie Coleman

I was a little lenient on the bulk, shooting for 2500-2800 calories. I cut at 1800-1900 calories. Im now bulking at 2500, trying to be a little more strict this time. I might have to get closer to 2600, but I'm just monitoring right now. Trying to stay lean. I was just trying to get at least .8g/lb of Protein and a minimum 30g fat (usually a bit higher though), before. From there, I just let it fall as it needed to hit my total caloric daily goal. I wasn't anal about it. Now, since this current bulk, I'm shooting for closer to 1g/lb or above, just to see what it does for me. Something like 150P/260C/100F.

No, I'm not following a formula really. Just finding minimums and going from there. I dont really think how I divide it up will make a noticeable difference as long as I'm in a ballpark. I just dont see the need to be obsessive. I haven't really seen a study proving anything over 2.2g/kg (note that is kg, so basically 1g/lb) is beneficial, so I shoot for that. Honestly, carbs make me retain water like crazy and I personally can't tell much difference in my lifting if I'm higher or moderate, so I dont care to push the carbs. I dont eat Fish, so I try to get some healthy fats in my diet, which usually makes my fat a little on the high side. Total caloric intake takes presidence over your Cal/Fat ratio.

Gained some weight, put on some muscle. BUT NOT ENOUGH!
About 3 months from the first pic to the second. Eating heavy and training hard actually works : )
Feedback is always welcome,
Thanks guys

Thanks a lot man.
I Tore my Labrum a while back so i'm easing back in to shoulders slowly but I definitely agree with you on that.
I weighed 195 when I started getting Serious about training/Dieting 3 months ago and I weighed 213 this morning. I am noticing some extra fat gain but thats expected while bulking and I would say its pretty minimal.

Can you guys tell me if this is a good transformation for 8 months?
Not sure how to post the pictures but if you could look at my profile and look at my progress photos, i would really like to see if that is a good transformation for that amount of time. Thanks!

My Progress so far.
Hi
My name is Kristian, and i have only bin training actively for 9 months. I got dragged into the gym by my friend, and i am grateful so far. Because i really was not happy with the way i looked! Since i was so skinny! Had a really bad self conscious, and iv'e always got picked on, so that really didn't help either. And i was sick and tired of complaining and do nothing about it.
So here is a picture of me at the beginning, and one picture 6 months later.
Nutrition tips/diet is appreciated.
