I am by no means an expert.. But like faogozalo said, if it is possible try to limit the amount of running type of exercise and cardio, you do not want to be burning much of what youre trying hard to gain. Eat like a champion, try to eat at least every 2-3 hours. Eat or drink a weightgainer before you go to sleep, that prevents nighttime catabolism since our bodys usually starve when we sleep. Which brings us to sleep, try to get at least 8 hour sleep, I myself try to go for 9-10 hours sleep, this is the time your body will do most of the repairing to your muscles and get bigger. Do not overtrain your musclegroups, depending how youre lifting, each muscle group needs a few days rest so they have time to repair after a good workout. For example I train 1 muscle group a day to be able to give it 5-7 days rest before I hit that group again. Lift heavy and try to keep your rep range at 6 -12
On a side note, you could try creatine, casein protein and weight gainers to help with your progress.
Best of luck with your progress, Im sure you will blast through 60 kg in no time and will be aiming for 70Last edited by MrMikael; 04-03-2013 at 02:46 PM.

My transformation
This is my transformation from when I was younger, and now after I started weightlifting properly a couple of years ago. Still have a long way to go though.
Excuses are the epitome of weakness...even if it is impossible I'll still prove you wrong!

Not "Mass" yet but here is my progression so far.
first picture was a year ago. about 120-125lbs.
i started lifting after taking that photo for a month and a half somewhat consistently, and immediately saw gains.
then i fell off the wagon, eating whatever and going to the gym maybe once a month. (2nd photo is in Jan 2013).
Finally i decided to stay consistent and motivated and this is me after 1 month of consistently going 4 times a week. (3rd photo)

My "Transformation"
Not excatly to "mass" but bigger. about 1 year and few months difference in these photos. In that time i hit gym for only 3 months (started to lift seriously), and before that i only did some sports and home gym (only bench press )
So most of my gains have been made in that 3 months.
First pic is before and second one is after.

Awesome work guys! I agree with others.. I have recently hit a plateau in my weight gain. Browsing through these pictures have seriously motivated me to keep pushing (And Eating!) to keep the weight gain going.
In this game there is no way to fake it until you make it... you have to work for it 110% everyday and you guys have done great!

Small changes...
My 7 month progress, started 51kg/112lbs, now 57kg/125lbs. Body fat percentage is a little blurry to me. Tape measurement calculator estimated around 10%, which seems quite low, at least I think so? Don't have much muscle, but hopefully will be big someday!
Any bf% estimations? And also general advices/help/tips for a beginner.
I haven't made a huge progress, but at least have gotten quite a lot stronger...

Bump, any bf% estimations?
Adding one new picture, which is current without flexing.
How is my progress? Thighs have grown 2''/5.5cm. Arms (flexed) 1.5''/4cm. Waist has grown 0.4''/1cm. Is that bad for 7 months/6kg? Should I do something differently, because my gains seem so small when compared to others....
