The Key to Becoming a Better Bodybuilder
by Shawn LeBrun
In just a moment, I am going to give you the key that will
unlock any bodybuilding goal you may have now or any goal you may have in the future.
It is the secret to permanent fat loss, muscle gain, and getting
an incredible physique.
No magic, no potions, no screaming "Eureka, I've Found It!"
No fluff, just a fact.
Are you ready for this key, the one that will unlock the door to becoming the best bodybuilder you possibly can be?
O.K. here it comes. Want to sit down for it?
The key to being a great bodybuilder is:
**You choose to!**
Huh?
Yes, becoming a bodybuilder and being bigger and stronger than most people is simply a choice that you make.
In fact, I could end this article with that said (some of you
probably wish that I would ;-)
Anything you want in life, any goal or desire can be yours if
you simply choose to go after it.
Things just do not fall into place naturally and without effort.
Yes, they do fall, just not where you want them to.
You must first "think" of what it is you want and then choose to
go after it.
And if you do not get what you want?
Try it again.
Like the back of the shampoo bottle says, "Lather, Rinse, Repeat."
Keep at it until you kill it and claim it.
Forget blame.
Forget victim talk.
Forget excuses.
If you want it, choose to get it.
After you choose it, if you are persistent enough and work hard
enough, whatever you wish for can be yours.
Want to shed some body fat? Choose to.
Want to gain muscle mass? Choose to.
Increase your strength or start eating better? Choose to.
Life boils down to a series of choices.
The better choices you make, the better your life will be.
You can choose to do cardio or you can choose that piece of cheesecake.
You can choose to get behind the wheel after drinking or you can
choose to hand the keys to a friend.
Some of the choices you make have a long lasting and dramatic
impact on your life forever.
So, for any of the young aspiring bodybuilders out there, I
guarantee if you make better choices now, you will cut out years
of trial and error!
Bottom line, if you choose to go after something, you can be
assured that it's within your reach because others have already
accomplished it.
Any problem that you may face in life, chances are that someone
has faced it and has already battled and conquered it.
Just follow what it is they did to come out on top.
If becoming a bodybuilder is one of your priorities, you can
rest assured that many others have already done it.
So the question of whether or not it's possible is not an issue.
It's just your turn to go get it.
**The choices we make dictate the lives we lead**.
Where you are today is the result of all the choices you have
made up to this point.
If you want better, you must make better choices.
You can either move ahead or stay behind.
The choice is yours.

I used to be one of those people until I realized the cold, bitter and completely exciting truth of self-motivation. Only you can make yourself get healthier. Nobody is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to eat unhealthy and be inactive.
I think for most it's some kind of event where a light goes off in their brain and suddenly they've become clairvoyant. For me it was my leg injury. I tried to jump a 9 foot wall and severly fractured my left tibia. Not only did the cost send me running for the gym, but the way I felt after every workout was enough to get me into the gym the next day.
Great article, thanks for sharing.

Bodybuilding exercises : transform your body
Bodybuilding weight training is usually looked upon from two different perspectives. The first one is through different bodybuilding machines and the second is through the use of free weights.
Some will say that the use of free weights for bodybuilding weight training is the best way to build muscle and though that may be true to some extent, you should however include all the different exercises to reap the full benefits.
Bodybuilding Weight Training Exercises :
The reason we want a mixture of the different exercises in our bodybuilding weight training is because we want to avoid making the exercises a habit. When our body gets used to something it doesn't see any reason to grow, but it is when you switch things up a little that you make it confused and its natural state will be to build new muscle mass.
-Chest Exercises:
These are some chest exercises considered to be the favorites by experts around the world and we will also include them here.
Bench Press (You can use an incline bench, a flat bench or a decline bench): This is a great exercise for your chest area. It can be done using dumbbells or a barbell.
Chest Flyers (You can use an incline bench, a flat bench or a decline bench): Another great exercise for your chest area that is done using dumbbells or you can also use the butterfly machine.
-Back Exercises:
It is important to include back exercises in your bodybuilding weight training because your back is the core and basis for all other exercises.
Dead Lift: This exercise is the mother of back exercises. Make sure to perform it correctly and you will experience great results.
Lats Pulldown: This is a great exercise performed on the lats pulldown machine and is available in almost every gym around the world.
-Leg Exercises:
A lot of people neglect training the leg muscle in their bodybuilding weight training. But your legs are the biggest muscle group in your body and also helps release essential hormones for muscle growth.
Squat: This exercise basically targets all of your lower body and a lot of people see it as the best bodybuilding weight training exercise for the legs.
Leg Press: This is another great exercise that reminds a little about the squat, but this is done on the leg press machine.
-Shoulder Exercises:
Shoulder Press: The Shoulder Press is an excellent exercise for your shoulder muscles. You can do it standing, sitting, with a barbell or dumbbells.
The Final Two :
The final two bodybuilding weight training exercises are for your arms, namely the biceps and triceps.
Bicep Curls: You can do this exercise standing, sitting, with a barbell or dumbbells.
Close Grip Bench Press: This is the same exercise as the bench press, but with a closer grip. You can do it on the smith machine or on the bench press.
Include the above exercises in your bodybuilding weight training routine and you will realize how effective they can be in transforming your physique.

What I find motivating is that others aren't. Hear me out. Competition motivates me. I'm not a big guy but I like to win. Not at all cocky and keep to myself but when I see bigger guys that don't have the last rep, the final push, the DRIVE (not because they're exhausted but because they gave in, you can tell)... that motivates me... because I do. To me, in my little world and small brain, I just won a victory. I may not be as big as the dude that just gave in but I just beat him.
Does that make sense? Maybe not but it motivates me. In relation to the OP, I chose to be better than that guy.
