Exclamation I'm Back and Ready to Work!!

I havent been on here for awhile, mainly because I've been going out drinking every night, eating fast food twice a day and consuming the worst foods imaginable. I felt that who gives a rats patoot about this and that. Then, reality set in. Girls would never give me the time of day, my friends and co-workers grew concern for my health(b/c I sure didnt care) and my family started to worry a bit. Just a little background, I'm 27, work as a bartender/manager at a restaurant that serves kickass Italian food(which I ate religiously). I am 5'10, weight in at about 330 lbs(havent actually weighed myself in a month or so, but that's my guesstimate) I wear a triple x shirt, size 50 pants, and quite frankly, I was ok with that. I've been receiving a lot of support from everyone and came up with a plan. I was looking on bb.com and saw that 12 week transformation section, and thought that I could do this...no doubt about it. I gave up fast food and all that ****ty food, drink 2 gallons of water a day, and havent touched a drink since ash wednesday(its a Lent thing, but since I lasted this long, I know I have the self discipline to not drink every night with my buddies) I am ready, and hope everyone else is too, to take part in this epic adventure and do something I couldnt do before..be healthy and have some sort of self respect.

Here is my diet and workout, which is basically a copy of that 12 week transformation. It just seems like something I can do.


Diet:

7:00 MEAL 1- PRECARDIO- 8 EGG WHITES WITH ONIONS AND ASPARAGUS WITH 2 SLICES WHOLEMEAL TOAST

9:00 MEAL 2- ONE TURKEY SANDWICH ON WHOLEMEAL WITH AVACADO AND HALF CUP OF BROWN RICE

11:00 MEAL 3- EIGHT OUNCES OF EXTRA LEAN GROUND BEEF WITH DICED TOMATOES, ONIONS AND JALAPENO PEPPERS WITH ONE SWEET POTATO

1:00 MEAL 4-PREWORKOUT- EITHER A PROTEIN BAR IF I'M ON THE RUN OR A POUCH OF TUNA WITH ONE CUP OF FRESH SPINICH AND ONE TBSP OF FAT FREE HONEY DIJON

3:00 MEAL 5-POSTWORKOUT- WHEY PROTEIN SHAKE

5:00 MEAL 6- EIGHT OUNCES OF GRILLED CHICKEN WITH STEAMED SPINICH

8:00 MEAL7- CASEIN PROTEIN SHAKE

Workout:

MONDAY-CHEST(BENCH PRESS, INCLINE, DUMBELL FLYES)
TRI'S(PUSHDOWNS, BENCH DIPS)
ABS(CRUNCHES)

WEDNESDAY- BACK(LAT PULLDOWN, SEATED ROWS)
BICEPS(EZ BAR CURL, SEATED DUMBELL CURL)
CALVES(STANDING CALF RAISES)

FRIDAY- LEGS(EXTENSIONS, CURLS, PRESS)
SHOULDERS(SIDE RAISES, SHOULDER PRESS, SHRUGS)
ABS(LEG RAISES)

PERFORM 3 SETS OF 12-15 REPS

CARDIO EVERY DAY FOR TWENTY MINUTES

Talking Good Start

Well, today is day 1...I woke up at 7am, made some eggwhites with onions and peppers(didnt have fresh asparagus today) and had a couple slices of wholegrain toast with a cup of green tea and two glasses of water. It was extremely filling, which is surprising because I HATE eggwhites. At 730, I arrived at the gym and started my 20 minute cardio session, which I did on the ellliptical machine while watching NFL Total Access. I was a little winded, worked a good sweat and felt pretty good when I finished. I'm downing water like its no tomorrow and staying away from coffee and that orange juice ****. At 9am is time for meal 2, got an avacado on the way home from the gym and ready to cut that badboy up.

Short term goals are pretty simple...I would like to lose 30 pounds of fat in three months, be able to lose about 6 inches off my waist and just keep at it. My problem four years ago is that I didnt have support, people in my everyday life didnt really give a **** what I was doing, so I, in turn, didnt give a ****. Now, my eyes are open, I realize how precious life is, and everyone has my back. I'm doing this for me mostly, but also to prove everyone wrong. Thanks for your support and I'll keep you posted.
