Obviously body building is one of the most physically demanding sports around... but many people don't realize the mental dedication and strain your body undergoes. This becomes a huge factor when I cut. I step on that scale and see my weight going down, and I feel small... instantly. 5'11, 230... and feeling small. I'm no Mr. O, not even close... but I am far from a twig that stands around in the gym. But your head plays games with you. When I bulk, even at 12% or 13% bf I feel fat and bloated. I just don't listen to my head anymore. I use the "small" feeling to motivate me, like when I started oh so long ago.
Saying no to a triple cheeseburger is the easy part... believing"I'm not small" is the really hard part of dieting."You gotta train like you've got a gun to your head."

the tastiest things such as sugar, salt and fat... forget about it...
Besides cardio, which is not a big deal, diet is the biggest reason most people can't loose weight... forget cutting, which needs more discipline.
:PAll you are doing is “Feel Good” :)

Yeah cutting has its pro's like being able to see your'e abs and seeing the muscle that you worked hard to attain, and obviously it's worth doing because I'm doing it, but overall its a bitch. Also I too sometimes feel like I might be loosing too much muscle which I worked so hard to achieve last bulk cycle. But what keeps me going is knowing as soon as I'm done cutting bulking is next!! which means
Never being hungry
Getting bigger
Protein shakes!
Getting stronger
etc.Hibernating

ah...march is here. 3 months or so before summer, doesn't that suck. Can't wait to get down to 7 or 8% bodyfat again tho. Bulking and cutting both have their pro's and con's, but i think bulking might be a bit more fun. As for cutting, thats the hardest part of bodybuilding. Keeping the muscle mass while loosing the fat. It's not just losing weight, it's losing bad weight and keeping goodweight..the delicate balance.
