    Knee Replacement and Exercise

I have an artificial left knee and arthritus in my right knee. I don't have much strength in either. What kind of exercise would be good to strengthen the knees and not hurt them?

Swimming and Biking would be extremely beneficial for you.
Other exercises, initially, may aggravate things.
Stretching will also help relieve stress on the joints.

    Smile Exercises

Need to work the muscles around the knee getting on a step of some sort and just doing small one leg dips work and laying down and doing leg raises. The bike and swimming will help with low impact on the knee. Also doing those dreaded not sure what they are called but when you lean against a wall and squat like your sitting in a chair.
