So a simple question was too much? It was a legitimate question. I wasn't knocking the guy for it. If he does he does. For clarification, I simply asked because I was curious if it would be reasonable to expect that someones body at that size could really naturally peak that high on strength. Since I'm similar weight I was curious. So yes it does matter, but not because I'm looking to bash the guy for it.

Yes. Either way it's a great achievement, but obviously it would be a much greater one if he actually was natural.

That's a legitimate question! I get asked the same question about steroid usage and don't get offended at all. My answer is that I don't need steroids because it goes against everything that I believe in as Christian. Also, I was tested by USAPL using WADA standards 3 times in a 13-month span.

Yeah, it is a great gym. I encourage anyone near or travelling to Pittsburgh to check it out.

I think he's about 5'6.

Its cool that you don't get offended. Most people who lift huge numbers raw and natural usually say its a compliment hehe.

If he isn't he should just take it as a compliment but it is an important piece of information just like if someone's total is geared or raw. Either way its a huge total

Well people on that page are trying to say that he is indeed drug free. I don't know if that's fanboi talk or if they actually know for sure.

Am I being ignorant to think that it wouldn't be possible for someone his weight to bench 518lbs raw? The squat and dead lift are believable, but not the bench.

The only thing I can think of if he was clean at comp is that he cycles while not in a competition window, and then cleans up just intime for the comp while still retaining as much strength as possible.

I'm not trying to hate on the guy, It's more that I would rather not have it in my head that it possible to lift something drug free at that weight when it really isn't.

Great lifts either way.
