hi guys, every since i can remeber whenever i do bicep curls with my EZ curl bar , as soon as i finish the reps and put the bar down, i get a shooting pain in my left forearm, on the outside of the ar,, its almost like my wrist but not quite...it only hurts when i rest the bar though not when im lifting it, like the release hurts???
i dont think im lifting to much, as it doesnt hurt my right forearm and its a do-able weight (32kgs)
( it doesnt hurt on dumbbells on barbells 0
thanks guys

had this for a while with straight and ez bar, took a break pain kinda went away once i started working my forearms the pain almost completely subsided and i havent done any bar curl since, hammer curls are a good alt. I went to the doctor today actually because the pain moved to my wrist and like i researched i damaged my TFCC (triangular fibrocartilage complex) on the outside of my wrist. I have an MRI next week to see if a little bit of cartilage is just damaged or if i tore a tendon in my hand...i either have to get a cortisone injection or some arthroscopic surgery to fix the tendon. So listen to your body, if it hurts a lot now take a week or two off, switch to hammer curls, and then try out some bar curls again and see how it feels. Taping it tight may help also, and be sure you have good form and start working your forearms with some wrist curls or something.
