What's the best way to increase my squat quickly?
I've been benching fr two years and now I'm finally starting to squat -.- . Afetr 3 days of squatting ( 1 week apart) I could do 8x10 of 175 lbs, whats a good program to get higher? thanks

5' 10" 155lbs
bench:255lbs, goal: 315-335 in college
still gotta work on shoulder, lats, abs, obliques, an biceps -.-

agreed... i pyramid pretty much 80-90% of my routine.... (i always want to lift more when i'm @ teh gym so it works out nice)..
glute ham raises... stiff legg'd deadlifts... reverse hypers.. and front squats have really helped my back squat #'s....

Sure the phrase may seem overused, but especially since you're just starting to squat...Squat More . Choose any rep range you want, just keep doing them. Practice good form again and again. Just learn the movement, don't worry about what's on the bar right now, and the weight will come.
after that point, i'd say just keep (somewhat) slowly increasing weight, decreasing reps when necessary. Then, as was mentioned, there are a ton of squat routines in the stickies at the top of this forum.
