The point is we have named like what 10 white RB's? Every starting, backup, and even third string RB in the NFL right now is not caucasian.. Except for MAYBE 1-2... and it doesnt bother me, I'm just saying I dont know why it is that way. It just seems like white people are naturally slower, less agile, and hold more bodyfat due to genetics.

"One morning I woke up and found my favorite pigeon, Julius, had died I was devastated and was gonna use his crate as my stickball bat to honor him. I left the crate on my stoop and went in to get something and I returned to see the sanitation man put the crate into the crusher. I rushed him and caught him flush on the temple with a titanic right hand he was out cold, convulsing on the floor like an infantile retard." -Mike Tyson

i think black people typically have a higher concentration of fast twitch muscle fibers than whites and/or higher natural testosterone. blacks dominate the quick and explosive positions in america's top games. they also have better frames for the sport
to ignore the obvious genetic difference is just plain stupid. ~13% of America is black, ~70% of theNFL is black, ~85% of the NBA is black and ~98% of USA's Olympic sprinters, long jumpers and high jumpers are black.
I mean, HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you are obviously going to have superstar white athletes out there and truly unathletic black people out there, but numbers aren't lyingMarge: Homer, the plant called. They said if you don't show up tomorrow don't bother showing up on Monday.

there is a easy reason for this
kickers, punters and qb's require less athletic ability than rbs and dbs
i guarantee there are more white kids playing football in HS than black kids. skill is the main factor for these positions. since athletic ability is not the determining factor for these positions, the trend is closer to the white player-black player-ratio set back in HSMarge: Homer, the plant called. You need to look at the socio-economic factors involved in this.
How much of America's young black population is out playing soccer every weekend? How many of them have their parents driving them everywhere to play these games? The answer is probably <1%. That is your answer to the black kicker question. Not that all kickers are soccer players, but its a damn good start to a NFL kicking career. Most of those kids are out playing basketball on their block for hours on end per day.

Blacks are genetically better at the RB position. **** those shallow scientific studies, or being politically correct or w/e blacks are born better running backs then whites. Now im not saying that all blacks are genetically better then whites, or that the average black has better genetics then the average white. It might be one of those two, it might be that blacks have a better chance of being genetically gifted but their is a reason that most starting running backs are black, and the reason is genetics.

I remember reading this story about this white dude who was an RB and they wouldn't let him start in college (wasn't a D-1 I don't think) because even though he was more skilled and athletic than everyone else his (white) coach told him "I can't have a white runningback!".
I think it's a combination of genetics, social expectations, and willpower to succeed that typically thrusts the black athlete over the white one when it comes to speed positions.
However, Kevin Curtis for the Eagles is my role model. (white boy wr, runs a 4.2, fastest player on team)
Matt Ryan is the truth.

You guys know any asian players? I'm hoping one day I'll have the chance. I guess I can see how genetics can play into asians. Asians aren't really big boned, not that much to work with, but those are genetically big boned, probably still have some possibility, but seriously, asians don't really excel in sports too well.

I think you have to look at this in a broader point of view. The NFL and NBA are the primary media sports in america, probably followed by baseball. Imagine if hockey were the primary sport america watched, or you lived in minnesota, can any of you name 5 black hockey players off the top of your head? I didn't think so. (If you haven't played hockey before, then you really have no idea the type of athlete you need to be to play).
Take Europe for example, Rugby and Soccer are probably the mainstream sports in those countries (and many of those players are making the transition to play here). Same scenario, name 5 black rugby players off the top of your head. Exactly, you don't know any. So, we automatically assume white athletes are better rugby players? Nah.
There are most examples, but i don't feel like typing anymore.
Black, white, asian, whatever...it's desire and determination that gets you where you want to be, not skin color.
