Is Bill Starr 5x5 workout good for cutting or for building muscle. I heard you need to bulk on month and the do your cutting the next month. And what are good exercises for cutting? Or do you do the same exercises but more reps?
The 5x5s are better for bulking. Doing low rep heavy weight sets with reduced calories is murder.
5x5 is about bulking and getting your strength in compound lifts up
