number of poses
Hello all,
I have been reading this forum for about 8 months now and this is my first post. I have a contest this Saterday and I was wondering if 15 poses over 90 seconds sounds good or not. Any input is appreciated.

If this is done to music it really depends upon the music tempo, etc. You should try and transition into new poses to go along somewhat with the music to make everything flow together more smoothly.

When I was putting my routine together, I thought this: If I hold each pose for 4 sec. and give myself 1 sec. for transitioning, then that's 5 sec. per pose and for a 60 min. routine that would mean 12 poses. Then I got my music and tried to get 12 poses in! I ended up with 9 poses in 60 sec.
By the way, if your contest is this saturday, shouldn't you have worked this out already?

I am ready
I am ready and everything, I got my music and everything, I was just wondering what others have done in the past. I think mine works out good, I have been practicing my routine for about 2 weeks, working on transitions. Thanks for the input.
i was also wondering if I should start carbing up tonight????

good advice, i agree with this 100%. it all depends on the music. i like using wrestling theme songs for posing because most have a good beat. some examples ive used are buff bagwells intro (buff daddy), and shawn michaels (sexy boy). believe it or not, these are great to pose too. and it is always original because people either dont know of them or didnt think to use them. the last thing you want is to pick a song that somebody previously posed to. ive also used "oh yeah" by yellow.
