    Question ZMA & Evening Protein Shakes???What to do?

    It should be simple...but it's not. I love ZMA but I have been waking up every night starving so I know I need to drink a slow releasing protein shake before bed but it says you can't do ZMA with dairy or calcium so I am in a conundrum. I know someone out there has some advice...please fill me in!!!!

    OK this is how i do my ZMA:

    9:00pm:

    * ZMA, 3 caps

    9:40pm

    * 700ml milk etc

    Take your ZMA about 1 hour before going to bed, so say your going to bed at 10pm (like me) have it at 9pm then 30-45 mins after that have your pre-bed meal.
    Stack:

    E-BOMB 2
    POWERCYCLE
    VAULT
    6-0X0
    VOLU-MASS

    i just take it between last meal and casein shake (right before bed), so about 2 hours before sleep, that way they aren't interfering as much. (just googled and several places do the same thing) i still sleep HARD, lucid dreaming etc.

    edit: see somebody posted 1 hour too, that is probably fine, just personal pref I like it 2 hours as I can feel it kicking in and can fall asleep easier that way.

    not sure the benefits but zma is favorite supplement for the AWESOME sleep, its so much better than without it, i toss and turn w/o the stuff.

    Wink Thanks for the advice

    I took my ZMA then an hour or so later drank my shake and made it an extra 3 hours of sleep....thank you!!!!!!! Getting ready for a show in July and trying to put on size without sleep sucks!

    yes it does seem to be a complicated problem for many to figure out. This exact question gets asked at least 1-2 times a week.
