I was just wondering if anyone on here has been sponsored or knows how to get sponsored. I am turning 18 in 1 week and have currently been lifting weights for over four years, putting on over 100 pounds. Much of that obviously from growing. But i like to try new products unfortunately i cant afford to continue trying new thigs. So i just thought i would ask how i may be able to get sponsored to test products.

Good question.
Its harder over here in Aus to pickup some one to help with a sponsor.
I know a bit and am learning more and more everyday on here, but its impossible to even think about a sponsor in Aus..
Im in the Defence Force and want to compete in our Body Building comps we have and there is 1 next January so i was going to dedicate a year to trying my hardest to compete.
I am not after all free sups id be happy to pay half price and the shipping, it would be good just to get that extra product knowledge as well from a GOOD Rep and a supporting company.
Im currently trying a review on the MX-LS7 as im trying to reduce my body fat before i start to bulkup. You can have a read and advice if you like.
Any how thanx for listening haa haa
peace

A company is in business to make money. Prove to a company that you can increase their sales.
I receive emails quite often from people asking that my company sponsor them. I ask how they will increase our sales and they have nothing to say.
I would be willing to sponsor a person based upon an increase in sales here at BB.com

Your right. You can not be an average person and get a sponsorship. There has to be something that sets you apart from everybody else.
To the OP, I am in the process of getting sponsored by (I will not say who), but its more of a warehouse, not 1 solo supplement company. (It would be like getting sponsored by bb.com, but obviously not them!) It takes a lot of work and a lot of time. One thing to remember is, You don't find a sponsorship, a company looking to sponsor somebody finds you. Best of luck, and unless you have some standout features, don't get to excited.

I don't think that's the kind of logic that should be ingrained into logger's minds. Some people pimp the **** out of a product it's ridiculous. The whole point of logging, to me, is to try out products I otherwise wouldn't, and to expose whether or not it's bull**** to the consumer. If you think you made a great product, then you should be willing enough to allow people to log, since it's so great it'll automatically bring in revenue.

I agree with the guys above that you are going to have to prove your worth to a company before they are going to sponsor you. You'll have to have events lined up that you'll be competing in (national level won't hurt ) and you'll have to show past progress and all of the goals you've reached. I was a sponsored athlete before I became a rep and now I know what companies look for and how to get their attention
