Angry abdominal tear

I tore something in my abs, but don't want to loose any muscle while it heals... will lifting lightly help retain or am I just up a creek???

I tore something in my upper back a month ago myself. I stayed off it and now its become much better. Don't keep working it or it will take forever to heal. The longer it takes to heal the longer you are out of the game. If an exercise has any sharp pains, I personally wouldn't work through it. I'm not a doctor though.

You look fantastic by the way!

your diet has EVERYTHING to do with retaining or losing muscle while out of the gym..up the protein intake and invest in some EAA's and BCAA's...the amino acids are crucial in preserving hard earned muscle

You can still work on minor muscle groups I suppose but stay away from anything to do with your core.
