1. Are there advantages to doing flat, incline and decline dumbbell flies? Is it worth mixing these up every week? I've been doing that recently.
2. I was told today at the gym to touch the bar on benchpress to my chest. I read somewhere else that this isn't a good idea, as you can bounce it off your chest and injure yourself. I come about .5 - .75 inches away from my chest before pressing upward.
3. On arms/legs days, is it a good idea to alternate workouts? Like lets say for an arm day I do barbell curls and preacher curls, and close-grip BP and dips. Should I do both the bi workouts first and then the tri workouts (or vice versa), or do something like preacher curls, then dips, then barbell curls, etc? Does this even matter?

Remember to take advice from others to start up, but don't limit your gain in knowledge to other people's advice. Get some personal experimentation in as well.
