Question about bodyfat testing
So on monday I'm getting my bodyfat tested by a trainer at my new gym and I've never gotten my bodyfat tested before and i'm nervous! I know that he will probably use the caliper on my legs, so does that mean I have to wear shorts? I just dont feel comfortable wearing shorts yet, my legs are really white and not lean enough for me. Can he get a good measure if i wear tight workout pants like the ones in my avatar?

you cannot take an accurate measurement through clothing, no matter how thin. If you are real concerned you could put on some self tanner lotion for couple of days (over the weekend). This should take that blinding whiteness out of your legs.
having your bodyfat taken is no big deal. he'll probably take 7-9 pinches with the calipers and check your bodyweight. Its no big deal. Good luck

body fat
For body fat they should not be touching your legs. I am a PT at 24 and they only should calculate the body fat with the calipers from 4 spots, none of which are from your legs. The one spot that might make you feel uncomfortable is right next to your pelvic bone, but it is not that bad. You can accurately read body fat with close on up to a very accurate percentage. The trainer should after he measures you with clothes on, then measure your clothes and subtract.
