Workout music?
What is in your mp3 player? I'm trying to drown out the elevator music at the gym & I'm wondering what pumps you ladies up? Any faves or suggestions?
thx

That sounds like a good mix! I felt strange listening to my husband's the other night when I realized that he thinks only men can make music, lol. I think it makes me feel stronger to have some "strong women" singing some things too. Maybe that's stupid, but when they're telling it like it is, I can lift one more and think, "Hmph, I am woman, hear me roar!" LOL. Dumb, but, hey, whatever works, right?

the best lifting music, at least for me, is NOT punk or RAP, but the oldtime
HEAVY ROCK music. my tunes on my MP3 consist of AC/DC, BOSTON, theWHO, and LedZep....
those tunes REALLY fire you up,
best,
~lifer

Okay, some of the trailer trash is gonna come out in me... but here it goes.
I love 80's rock. Like Whitesnake, Winger, I LOVE Ozzy, Guns n Roses, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Boston, Journey (not the slow stuff), Tesla, Ratt, okay I will stop there because I could go on forever. And like Lifer, I like Led Zep and the Stones.

hi all. I don't usually post in here. I spend more time in the wwe forum, but lurk around in here every so often. anyway, just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. obviously, I'm a wrestling fan, so I find that wrestling music gets me pumped at the gym. lil' kim does a song for one of the divas that I have on my ipod. alter bridge (the original instrumentalists from creed with a different lead singer who imo is better than scott stapp) has a song called, "metalingus," from their CD that a superstar uses as intro music, rob zombie, mercy drive does another superstar's current music, marilyn manson "beautiful people" that used to be the intro music to one of the shows, saliva, sevendust, and a rock band one of the wrestlers who didn't renew his contract about 6 months ago is the lead singer of, Fozzy, to name some of the songs/artists I have. I'm going to be adding fat joe & nelly which was a pay per view theme song, sheryl crow "soak up the sun," hoku "perfect day" (nothing to do with wrestling just a fun upbeat song for cardio), and drowning pool.
